Preparing for CELPIP

Hi everyone,

I’m having my CELPIP exam in a week and I’m a bit confused about the right approach for Writing and Speaking. I’m following a few CELPIP tutors online, and they teach advanced templates and structures for answers, especially for higher bands.

However, whenever I practice and ask ChatGPT or other tools to review my answers, I’m told that my response sounds too robotic and that I should be more natural instead of relying heavily on templates.

This has left me confused about what to actually follow in the real exam.

•	Should we use structured/advanced templates to aim for higher scores?

•	Or is it better to keep answers simple and natural, even if they’re less “fancy”?

I would really appreciate your insights. What worked for you in the actual exam?

Thanks in advance!
