Do most single young people want to "hook up"with someone even if they are Christian?

I am early 20s / M. And from what I'm hearing, in most of the places where young people would meet and hang out in the evenings, people seem to be looking for someone to have sex with immediately. Also most people on the Internet seem to have had hooked up with several people before, after meeting in bars or parties or something. I am not sure if most friend groups (often all male or all female) often go trying to "score" and I see this in TV shows all the time. Is this what most people do, have done, or want to do?
