Is it possible to change classes even though the deadline for drop/enroll has passed?

I am currently enrolled in Math140 and missed a week and a half of class due to getting pretty sick. I went in to take an exam yesterday and the professor questioned if I was in the class and threatened to drop me from the class in front of the room. He then said to talk to him after the exam where he also asked if I was taking the class seriously after I had already said I got pretty sick. I personally hate any kind of social interaction and this kinda made it hard for me to take the exam after that. Is this me taking it to personal or am I correct to feel a little singled out? Long story short, is it possible for me to change class/professor even though the deadline has passed as I need this course for my requirements.
