Buying light bee x in box fb marketplace

I’m going to go buy a surron that is apparently brand new still in box off Facebook marketplace. The guy wants $3300. I’m curious if this is a good idea/good deal, and if it is what should I look for to make sure this thing is legit and know it works considering it’s in a box still. Thanks
