Dual SVR 12s on 1200?
Well, I was wondering about changing something up with my sub setup, I've currently got a single svr12 in a custom ported enclosure, I've got it wired to 1 ohm powered by a skar rp1200. I thought about getting a second identical sub (skar SVR 12 D2) and then building an enclosure that would still fit behind the seats in my truck, and then wiring them each to 2 ohms individually, if I wired them in parallel to my current rp1200 would that not drop the load from 2 ohms individually to 1 ohm total? right now with my single svr12 I have my gain set between 1/3 and 1/2, it would technically be a bit louder even though they are receiving a little less power right? sorry if this was hard to read my mid was sorta all over the place 😅
