HELP! Trying to find a children’s book

I am looking for a children’s book (it is a treasury or collection of stories) with one of the stories being about spiders that steal bagels and cream cheese from a nearby town. I think the story book also had a version of The Emperor’s New Clothes. Have been searching for years and haven’t come across the title or anything. Any tips or help is appreciated!
