Why is everyone that smokes Kools the most humongous asshole alive?

This might just be me but it's genuinely something I've noticed while working retail. Literally everyone that comes in wanting these cigarettes is some miserable 70 something old crone that is just nasty the entire transaction. No greeting, already has a shitty attitude, nonstop bitching about prices despite these being some of our cheaper cigs, the whole nine yards. Earlier today I had a younger dude come in wanting some Kools and I was thinking "Maybe he won't be so bad", but nah he proceeds to bitch and moan about having to scan his ID. I know every cigarette is gonna have assholes that smoke it, but I genuinely can't think of the last time I had someone buy Kools and was actually pleasant the entire time. Anyone else have any similar stories?
