Does foot growth got any relation to peak height velocity?
I am 5”6 for reference and mum 5”6 dad 5”8. When I started puberty I was around 14 and I was a size 6 UK, then when I was 15 I was a 7.5 UK and then when I first turned 15 I was an 8.5 and now I am a 9 at 16.5 years old. I have never had a growth spurt and just grew a steady 2 inches every year and my wingspan recently grew like I kid you not a few months ago when I measured it, it was like 5”5-6 and now it is 5”9. Am I past my growth spurt or is it just beginning? I also heard that “ peak foot growth” occurs 2.5 years before peak height velocity and it usually involves boys growing 2.6 shoe sizes in one year but that has never happened to me, maybe I just grew more stable but nevertheless does this mean that I am 2.5 years away from peak height?
