Looking for Options

I have a 2011 Chevy Traverse that will not start. The battery is less than two years old and has been tested three times over the last year and it's holding a charge. The alternator is less than a year old and is working fine (according to multiple mechanics).

Three times in the last year, it just stops starting. I've had it towed to three different places and each time, once it's dropped off, the vehicle starts with no problem. I've done my best to explain that the vehicle hasn't started in weeks/months depending on the situation. Having been laid off, I can't afford to keep paying towing companies to be told the starter tested good and just be handed my keys back.

Is there any explanation as to why a vehicle won't start until it's towed somewhere?

TIA
