Why do i feel weird?

I’ve been in the talking stage with someone for about 3 weeks now. today was obviously valentine’s day and i don’t have an issue with not getting anything because we aren’t together at all yet. my only issue is ive been left on delivered since 4. it’s currently 9 now and i feel like im going crazy. we already had a talk about why he’s not ready to be in a relationship and it’s because hes not “emotionally” ready for one. but if youre busy maybe a “hey im so busy ill text you when i can” or something? should i text and ask what he’s doing? what if im not the main one right now anyway? if anything im definitely overthinking it. we have plans for next tuesday should i ask him if hes seeing other people? ughhh i just need help
