Is this an event or a crazy player?

So I was extracting in red lakes balcony lift when suddenly a bunch of snitch scanners started going off on the ground and summoned at least 15 wasps. The door to the small building was also blocked from the inside. This isn’t some new game event is it? Just some crazy ass player? There was no one the so I just extracted while down it was so weird
