Cleaning the Gas piston

I’ve had excellent results with this regimen:

1)Remove piston cover and piston and soak them in Hoppes solvent

2. while those are soaking, I clean the gas cylinder with a little Hoppes and a .40 cal bore brush, then swab throughout to remove excess Hoppes and debris. Then I swab cylinder again with rubbing alcohol.

3. using Brass brush, clean the piston (the Hoppes makes cleaning super easy). Then I will wipe off excess Hoppes, and clean with alcohol.

4. reinstall and function check
