Firm Hybrid/Foam/Latex Recommendations in Canada

My (28F, 140lbs) fiancé (28M, 210lbs) and I are looking to get a new mattress here in Canada. We are primarily stomach sleepers, therefore we have decided on a medium-firm - firm mattress & have been given advice to look at a hybrid or a foam however I’m also interested in latex as I’ve heard they last longer.

Our issue with our current mattress is that it’s too soft and has major body indents despite regular rotations, it is almost impossible to sleep on it as a stomach sleeper without having incredible back pain (we have opted to sleep on the couch most nights recently).

I’m really hoping not to break the bank (no more than $2000 for a King) and the idea of a “365 night sleep trial” seems appealing (I’ve seen silk & snow / Logan & cove offer this) & am also open to Costco options as they have such a great return policy in the event we have issues (although I’d prefer to not have to be exchanging mattresses every few months lol).

If someone could please point me in the right direction that would be great! Being able to try it out is a huge plus (also something deterring me from Costco as most of their mattresses are online). I’d like something that will last (hopefully) upwards of 10+ years and don’t want to be sleeping on a rock but need some real support. Opinions on mattress type (hybrid vs foam vs latex) & mattress brands are greatly appreciated!!!!
