Bridal showers

Hi! I’ve been very back and forth between if I want a bridal shower or not. Originally I did when we got engaged because it’s a very sweet tradition and growing up down south I probably went to 25+ from age 18-24. But when talking about it with my mom and MIL, both of them said it was for the MOH and bridesmaids to plan/throw.

Issue is both of my bridesmaids have said they can’t/don’t want to plan one because they don’t have the budget to. Which I completely understand! I’m just kinda sad because I’m not doing a bachelorette, bridal shower, or anything because I want to be aware of budgets to the point where my bridesmaids are not paying for literally anything to be a part of the wedding. Am I allowed to plan one for myself? Or is that not okay?
