Kendrick fans are the corniest and will look to hate on Cole for anything

You Kendrick d-riders think you're so deep, artistic and above the "normies", because you listen to Dot's music. He portrays himself as this mythical figure preaching above you like he's black Jesus which y'all eat up. Truth is he just a rapper, not this profound truth speaker that has the answers to deep cultural issues. Because if he had the answers, he would've done more for the community (besides some donations and some public speaking) then having cool corky sounding abstract music and bars about the culture, which yes can uplift some people but it doesn't truly having the wide scale profound positive cultural change which his status should suggest. And if you're a person like me who recognizes he's an elite artist but also can see past his performative shtick, you can just enjoy the music for what it is, great rap commentary of the culture but nothing more.

J.Cole in the other hand is authentically himself. He is truly a humble person who doesn't try to act like someone he's not. But he gets criticized heavily because a lot people perceive him as a deep rapper that isn't that deep, and to Kendrick fans and people with double digit IQs, then that makes a lot of sense in their head. But to the people who aren't mentally deficient or doesn't have Dot's jiz in there blind spot mirrors, they can see Cole for what he truly is. A normal dude that has takes on the culture and world which is displayed in his music that isn't preachy or a performative facade, but says thing in a relatable way like he's speaking directly to you. Truth is Cole and Kendrick have very similar outlooks on life, but portrays it in their music in differently. I just feel like for alot of rap fans, they want rappers to be larger than life and for someone like Cole, who isn't like that but is authentically his humble self who isn't going to put an artificial act, it doesn't matter how good he is or what he says, he's going to be disrespected. We live in such a superficial world, everything is about atheistic's and how you're perceived even if it's fake. Authenticity doesn't matter.
