Kurosawa fan slowly becoming a Dostoevsky fan
I started reading some Dostoevsky this year and now I am curious about all things Fyodor-related. Right now i am finishing up The Brothers Karamazov and i have started Crime and Punishment.
I have been a Kurosawa fan for a couple of years now (Yojimbo, Ran, Rashomon, etc.), but i have yet to watch all of his available works. I know he made a film adaptation of The Idiot (i still have neither read nor watched). Did he adapt more of dostoevsky's works? What kind of influence did Dostoevsky have on Kurosawa's work? I know Ran and Throne of Blood are both adaptations of shakespeare. Did he adapt any other shakespeare as well?
