Aars stack questions

I run PMS in windows 11. I know it's not the best way but it just works for me. Is it possible to setup my aars stack to run in windows or would it be better to run in on a VM with some flavor of Linux. The end goal is to get this fully automated if possible. My hardware is a Beelink Eqi12 i3 10 core processor with a Terramaster 4 bay DAS. If I've managed to leave out some bit of vital information feel free to ask. Thanks in advance for any help offered.
