The first baby conceived during the pandemic was born around the first and second week of december of two thousand twenty. (Of couse premature births exist).
Using this, I would end Generation Z in two thousand twenty, most two thousand twenty's babies were conceive before the pandemic, and since the pandemic alter the birth rates I think it's a great way to end Gen Z and start Gen Alpha.
And if you this is stupid, The Greatest Generation is define by those born after one thousand nine hundred and one (too young to fight in the First World War - Of course there were under age soldiers -) and right before the Great Depression of the nineteen hundred and twentys/nineteen hundred and thirtys, The Baby Boom Generation is the generation of humans born between one thousand nine hundred and fourty-six and one thousand nine hundred and sixty-four (The Baby Boom of the mid Twentieth Century), The Silent Generation is define by those born during the Great Depression of the nineteen hundred and twentys/nineteen hundred and thirtys and the Second World War (they were too young to fight in the Second World War). So, Why not use the same reasoning for other generation?
So, generation would end up looking like this:
The Lost Generation: one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight -- one thousand nine hundred.
The Greatest Generation: one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three - one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.
The Silent Generation: one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight - one thousand nine hundred and fourty-six.
The Baby Boom Generation: one thousand nine hundred and forty-six - one thousand nine hundred and sixty-four
The Generation X: one thousand nine hundred and sixty-five - one thousand nine hundred and eighty-two.
The Millennium Generation: one thousand nine hundred and eighty-three - two thousand one.
The COVID Generation: two thousand two - two thousand twenty.
The AI Generation: two thousand twenty-one - ????
