[HELP] I recently created a Fiverr account and need help identifying scams.
Hi everyone, how are you? As I said, I created a Fiverr account two days ago selling my services as an illustrator. I've sold artwork to small local clothing stores or for personal orders, but I'd never sold online on platforms designed for that. Since my daughter's birthday is coming up and my wife isn't working due to her health, I thought it would be a way to raise money for her party. So, based on my research, I concluded that Fiverr might be the best platform offering good security, especially for buyers outside my country (I'm Brazilian).
My question is: the platform has an area that shows people who have seen your ad, and so far no one has seen mine, but even so I'm receiving messages from people (curiously all from France or Italy) saying they placed an order and that I should access the link they sent me to check something. Since all the warnings on the internet say to never click on links from people you don't know, I assumed it was a scam. But I have no idea how the platform works, and since I'm using the app on my phone to check the messages, and the app seems kind of unreliable, I don't know if it's the app that's not updating the status of my orders (I literally only downloaded the app to receive message notifications, and I'm not even getting that).
Since for now I'm assuming it was indeed a scam and that I did the right thing by ignoring it, I wanted to know what other types of scams are common on the platform and what I can expect from them to prepare myself and avoid any losses.
