Can Anti-Reflective coating cause headaches/dizziness/discomfort?

To provide some context, but trying to keep it short and simple: I wore a pair of non-AR, polycarbonate glasses comfortably for 9 years and then decided I wanted a new pair. I ended up trying different frames/lenses but they all have been giving me the same uncomfortable sensations even after wearing them for weeks/months. The only common denominator is that each pair has AR coating…. is it even possible for this to be the culprit?
