W-2 says only took out 50 federal withholding but return is 600+

So I did home healthcare taking care of my 101 year old grandmother for like 8 out of the 12 months last year.. checks got direct deposit so never looked at how much they were taking out.. I am doing my taxes through chime since it’s free and thats where my checks went.. I made like 8k hut apparently they only took out $50 federal withholding.. why is my tax return over $600 if apparently they only took $50?? Am I actually going to get the 600+.. i feel like chime should know what they’re doing…
