OC40's have a weird smell when crushed and snorted

I've gotten a couple of these Oxycontin 40mgs in Italian blisters and when crushed up and snorted they have a weird chemical smell to them. I've found a reddit post describing it as a nail polish remover / rubbing alcohol smell and I'm curious if this is a thing with OC's.

I am aware that most fakes come in blisters too but they don't feel suspiciously strong or underdosed and they taste somewhat like what I remember Faroxy 30's tasting like. Any ideas? I'm not in Europe if that makes a difference
