The NBA doesn’t have a tanking problem; it has a competency problem.

I don't really care about sports but looking at this situation this solution seems to be the real answer when you look at the whole picture.

Part of what I'm getting is that instead of trying to make teams not tank how about you just make sure teams hire competent GMs and personnel decision makers. The idea is we are looking at the league and we are seeing a few decision makers who get good players and hire good coaches and then many who don't.

I definitely have the view that organizations like the Boston Celtics and the OKC Thunder show what happens when you have competent people. But then you look at other places and see that is not the case. Nico Harrison is the perfect example of the narcissistic type of arrogant decision maker who just has confidence and nothing else really arrogance and ignorance.

I definitely think that while the NBA says they want to stop tanking when you look at the reality it is that bad teams just have bad leaders so to speak. Now a days you have these arrogant GMs who have no concept of the view you get from actually building a team properly unlike the decision makers in Boston or OKC.
