John Freida Go Blonder

So about 8 months ago I used John Frieda go blonder on my hair. I was broke and wanted highlights what can I say. Since then it’s gotten progressively brassier but my hair is about a 9 in the places I used it. I want to try a bleach bath/bleach wash and tone it back to a cool 8. Does anyone know how Go Blonder interacts with dye ? I have heard horror stories about sun in so I know it can ruin hair to bleach it. I’m totally okay to tone my hair back down to my natural 7 to match my roots and bottom of my hair but I would prefer to get it to a 8. I don’t want to fry my hair, it’s really healthy right now and I take great care of it (weekly hair mask and scalp cleanses, daily hair oil, and protective hair styles with a silk bonnet at night). I just don’t want it to be so brassy anymore. So if anyone has experience with Go Blonder and bleach please help!!!!!
