Is the game forcing me to do a day 1 reset?

Right as day 46 happens Hokma's suppression becomes available, but at the same time it immediately begins the architecture core suppression meaning I can't do Hokma. I don't see how any person would be able to do this without a day 1 reset, which this pisses me off because my nuggets have managed to survive Apocalypse Bird, the Red Mist, the Arbiter, and even Purple Midnight! So is there at all a point in the last few days when I can suppress Hokma's core or am I boned?
