Is a larger study from PEW research center considered scholarly? And would our class textbook be considered a scholarly source? My professor marked me down saying that neither of these are scholarly sources. (The rubric does not say the textbook does not count. All it says is that scholarly sources should come from the library or sites ending in .edu, .org, .gov, etc.). The PEW study is also labeled .org which is throwing me through a loop.

Furthermore, the feedback is also riddled with em dashes like “ - -“ or “—“ so im thinking he may have just fed my work to chat gpt or something 🙄
