In a rental Yukon and the screen turns on 30 percent of the time

I’m in a Yukon Denali rental. 550 miles on it. The screen will not turn on about 70% of the time. The are several people saying that the fixes are to wait 5mins with it off or to keep turning the car off and on again.

The funny thing is that when it turns on without the screen the AC is blasting at 80 degrees. CarPlay still works. The buttons still work. The screen is not responsive to touch.

Their other fixes require a shop. I just need to make it until middle of tomorrow and might be able to exchange it. Do you have any tricks to get this 90k brand new truck to work with greater odds?
