Red flag?

Im going to keep this simple,

Partner says people at the renaissance faire aren’t his vibe. And named some workers he thought were “weird”.

I adore the renaissance faire and always have. It feels like a place to just be yourself and I’ve always loved that.

I feel offended? Kind of? But he is also a very emotionally repressed person, did not grow up in the kind of household to nurture feeling emotions and being carefree, lots of religious trauma. Hates doing anything that may potentially be embarrassing and doesn’t know how people or friendships work lol.

So I can’t decide how I feel about it.

Mostly sad that he won’t be goofy with me or do things like go to the ren faire.

Should I be feeling more understanding?
