Advice when starting to collect silver

Hi,

For some reason my genius mind recently came up with the idea of collecting silver. Haven’t really collected any precious metals before so I was wondering what the best way to go about this is? Should I wait for red days and then go to my local bullion/coin shop and stock up? Should I DCA it?

Was going to ask my mom and grandma if they had any old silver coins so that’s probably where I would start.

Any other advice would be appreciated
