Can I walk in to NYPD R/S to confirm they received my documents?

Hi everyone,

I’ve emailed NYPD License Division (Rifle/Shotgun section) a few times. They replied that I needed to submit additional documents. I sent all the requested documents by email, but I’m worried they may not have received or processed them.

Can I go to the R/S section in person to check my status and confirm whether anything is still missing?

Do they allow walk-ins, or do I need an appointment?
