i need tips on playing scythe

i just started to play scythe a couple of days ago because of her reaper skin and MAN does she feel terrible to play as. this is how most of my rounds go

i run in to battle

i get jumped and my health instantly disintegrates

i try to run away using e and q (scythe mode) like they say in the guides

they catch up anyway

i die

i try going to the low health stragglers

i get jumped

try to run away

i die

repeat ad nausem

round ends
