Explore with Us (EWU) Question

I'm sure by now everyone is aware of this creator. I've been thinking about joining his patreon or YouTube members only subscription. My first question is, are those basically the same thing with the same general content? If they are different, how so? If you have one of these do you think it's worth it? Do you possibly have a different recommendation?

*For context: The closest thing I've ever done remotely cloae to this is a Spotify podcast I paid for once.*
