Advice on how I should proceed
Hey everyone,I wanted to get some thoughts on a situation that’s been on my mind.
I (33M) have been collaborating pretty casually with someone (32F) on an artistic project for the past few months. We don’t work together professionally — this is more of a passion project we connected on.
We met organically, and from the start, the connection just clicked. We get along effortlessly, chat almost daily (often about all sorts of things beyond the project), and there’s this strong sense of ease, like I’ve known her for years even though it’s only been about three months.Recently, I was at her place and another guy was there.
Without me asking directly, she mentioned that they “haven’t had the conversation yet,” which made me realize there’s possibly something going on there. She seemed a little embarrassed about it, and I tried to stay cool, but honestly — I’ve caught feelings and I’m trying to make sense of what to do with them.
I’m looking for advice on how to navigate this: how do I handle my feelings without jeopardizing the friendship or the creative collaboration we’ve built? Any thoughts on how to approach this kind of situation respectfully?
