Being called shaytan

My disgusting muslim dad calls my mom a shaytan almost every day if he is angry. Said he hopes god destroys her etc. This is islamic spirituality ig. It should be bad to call a muslim a satan being theyre a “creation of god”. But my dad relayed a story of a religious scholar who calls his kids satans if they dont get up to pray. Hearing this verbal abuse is killing me mentally.
