Asking "how much this cost?" And how to pronounce it correctly?

that is it, i saw a video the other day that showed a girl asking a beach vendor how much a thing for sale that he had both in portuguese and spanish and the guy give two different answers so i want to try asking the cost more in portuguese so i get a discount ;D
