Recommendations for ''lower end'' office chair (new only) for 450$ USD (600$ CAD) ?

Hello guys,

I checked the megathread but all the chairs recommended seem to be a little out of my budget. I'm in Canada and my budget is around 450$ USD (600$ish CAD). Taxes (15% in my province...) are not included here in the price and I can't really afford more than 450-500$ USD.

I need something that is available to buy in Canada too because import from the US is too expensive now.

I checked my local marketplace and there's no herman miller etc for sale at reasonable prices either. And reconditioned chairs are being sold for a premium too.

I've been watching some videos and I saw some chairs I would be interested in :

- COLAMY XK Atlas (300$ USD ish)

- Staples Hyken (200$ USD ish)

- OdinLake L1 (300$ USD ish)

- Haworth soji (450$ USD)

The soji was my #1 pick intially but there's no headrest and I can't find any add on. I work from home 4 times a day and in reunions etc which happen often I'm in a more ''relaxed'' position.

I currently have a hyken and it served me well but it's about 10 years old now and starting to show it's age. I might buy it again but I don't particularly like the headrest (and 5'11-6' and it's just a little too short for me, I would it to go maybe 1 inch higher). I also it's super annoying to clean and I have a cat so it's full of cat hair stuck under it, in the back, in the headrest ...

Any of those 4 make sense or do you guys have any recommendations ?
