I look like Medusa?

Hi. People have been telling me that I look like Medusa (Greek mythology) . I don't quite get it. Is it a compliment or a way of them trying to make fun of me and bully me..? What does it mean when they say “U look like Medusa” or “U remind me of Medusa” . What does it mean to look like her/or remind people of her..? Is it a good or bad thing? What is your opinion?
