I'll just pretend to the rest of my life
Or until I crash IDK
The thing is, whenever I just pretend I'm not me, people treat me better.
I can pretend I agree with people dumb opinions, I can pretend I'm liking everything, I can pretend I'm not suffering, wave and smile.
If I were in a safe place where I can just be me and everything would be ok, that would be nice but I'm not, so it is better to be an imposter so at least people respect me.
I've been lying that I have a job for a long time, freelancer, so nobody questions it. I'm lying that I have some friends but I actually say stories that I heard or something that happened to me while I was on a psychward.
Lie lie and lie, I'm a good pretender, once they see you as one of them things are easier to manage.
I've always had imposter syndrome in my entire life, I don't have any attachments to who I'm supposed to be, so whatever.
