Customer somehow ordered from the wrong state.

Walgreens order for an item. I deliver it and after he gets the picture he calls to say that isn’t his door step. I then repeat his address to him including state (Michigan) and he says “no I’m in Cincinnati, Ohio.” So I’m thinking he ordered directly through the Walgreen’s site and selected his address only in Michigan. I called support to document it. My question is what’s going to happen when he gets a refund stating he never got it?
