[P5 The Animation] Just started watching, does it feel a bit rushed to you guys as well?

I'm already on the 5th episode and although I'm actually liking the adaptation (as I've already finished the game before), I can't deny that things go WAAAAAAAY faster than it should, at least for me.

1st episode we are already introduced to Ryuji, Ann, Kamoshida and Morgana, thus its Personas as well. No major development on Ren's past and all, while already knowing that didn't get much development in the game as well. Five episodes in and we are already entering Yusuke's arc.

Is it because the adaptation team had to cram up the entire story of the game, with (at least I expect) all confidants, gameplay mechanics and overall lore to fit in a normally-sized anime season? This genuinely got me curious about it.

Let me know your thoughts about this. I'm a newbie on the franchise as well, I'm only 20 hours in the NG+.
