Advice for building a MyPlayer

First time making a MyPlayer since 2k18. Looking to build a PG, playmaker mostly, but with the ability to hit the outside shot, and drive a little bit. I was wondering if it's worth using one of the pro-tuned templates, or if I should just try to build my own. looking at either the dot dispenser archetype or the swishlord archetype. Really not sure how to build my own in new 2ks. Would love any advice.
