Not getting LCSA

Hey everyone I’m here to vent about my frustrations about my leadership. So I’ve been working with the company for 3ish years so I told them I was interested in a lead position. I do school online now so I can do open availability. My team supervisors and CSS said I’d be perfect for the role. So I took more responsibility in deli and learn how to do the lead tasks. Fast forward to the interview I feel like I did really well on the questions when it comes to my team and things such of that nature. Next week comes and they told me they gave to someone less qualified and less respected. I felt really hurt by that and I am extremely discouraged by it so I’m going to go to a new location to get a new set of faces and start fresh hopefully I can get back that drive
