I feel uncomfortable with two older teens on my sports team.

I won't say the sport as it may reveal a tad too much. I (f14 almost 15) am on a girls team (highschool). Well, we often practice with the highschool boys team. Now, I'm new and I feel like the other girls are connected but I just can't be. They don't ever really talk to me, they don't really treat me well, and I often feel excluded which is fine honestly. One of the families (one coach and two daughters) even socially isolated me in the past for being gay.

Anyway, onto the problem I'm having. With this team environment in mind, I don't get talked to at all. And one day this guy who we will call kaden started making comments like "gotta feed my family" while we were doing this penguin themed workout and encouraged me to keep going when I thought I couldn't. I started hovering around him a bit but not too much. I didn't think much of it till this girl who we will call Kay told me he has sa'd his ex. I asked kaden about it and he told a story about how it was his ex accusing him then asked Kay and she just kept saying how it was odd he hung around freshmen.

I don't support either side of this. I think what kaden allegedly did is very wrong and now I want to create more space there without harming myself. But it also feels more like Kay is spreading rumors cause all she does is loudly bully kaden and she lies about other things. I'm already hated on this team and I don't want to take any part. I've started avoiding and shortening conversation with Kaden and plan on not talking to him next year as the season is over. Well, the only reason I didn't do this sooner is cause I thought Kaden was a senior.... He's 18 but got held back twice so he's just a grade above me. I started talking to Kay more and found out that she ALSO got held back twice and is 17. I think it's odd but she doesn't have anything against her so whatever ig. Well, she shipped me and kaden... I'm 14 and lesbian.... She said "well we all know who I ship kaden with" then smirked at me. I made it clear that I didn't see kaden that way and it's never happening and she asked "why?" The conversation got redirected but I'm starting to feel afraid of this situation. If I don't talk to kaden then he could get mad and hurt me, if I keep talking to him then I get shipped with him. What do I do here?
