Issue With Dual Discrete GPUs - 5070 & 4060 Ti
My desktop has a dual-GPU setup - my 5070 which is the primary GPU I do everything from, and a 4060 Ti I use for AI inference. Unfortunately it seems like most games and software are wont to pick the 4060 Ti, even though nothing is hooked up to it. I was wondering why my games wouldn't load or had rendering issues (I just moved off Windows, so I was expecting there to be trouble), when a Vivaldi update made it start using the wrong GPU for encoding. Eventually I realized I could fix some of my steam issues by adding VKD3D_FILTER_DEVICE_NAME="RTX 5070" %command% to the launch options to make some of the games work, but others like Elden Ring still don't. I even rearranged the physical order of the cards to no avail. Any help? nvidia-smi below.
