Found bug/s in FreeTaxUSA

I decided to give FT a try since I heard from this group that importing prior tax years was easy, and it was.

I was thrilled when I saw that I could take my consolidated 1099 brokerage tax document and drag/drop it over! However, that excitement quickly faded when:

I saw that the date acquired and date sold dates were being transposed, requiring a lot of editing on 100+ rows on my part. This is definitely a bug.

This may or may not be a bug however I consider it one - on the long-term realized gains or losses - it did import these over in the same row order as on my statement PDF. So I have 10+ pages / 100+ entries where I have to hunt and peck for each line item!

Also, on the long-term realized gains or losses - some of the dates and amounts are just blank. Not wrong, but not entered in. Definitely a bug.

These are all that I have found so far. I have a relatively simple return except that I had to sell some investments in order to, well, live. I have been at this for 3+ hours doing data entry to fix the software's mistakes.

Since this is my first time using this software, I feel less and less certain about using it again -- or even filing my return with it.

Also, why would it import everything if it still requires the user to manually open each row to review it, which requires multiple screens and button clicks?!? It would have been much more efficient to open one screen for review if that was the real intention. The button click performance is also slow. I wouldn't even want to see how slow if I was doing this in March or April.
