So bonchan

Is he a character loyalist to sagat or what? He was always top 8 in usf4 but could never get further because sagat was simply not good enough. I stopped playing sf5 some week after sagat released so i stopped keeping track there. Now in sf6, he's back to playing sagat. Is he a character loyalist or is sagat s tier or some shit in sf6?
