Rad tech?

For a little background, I am 24(f) I am a manager of a gas station and the culture of gas station management is just getting increasingly toxic and I would really like to go to school for a degree, I used to be CPR certified and have been thinking about how fun that class was so I had been exploring jobs and I have been really interested in getting into school and becoming a radiology tech! However I've never been in college, it's been 6 years since I graduated (2020) and I'm not sure if I can even qualify for it. They have this at my local community college and I would really like to go but I honestly don't know if there's any chance that I can get accepted, I hear it's crazy hard to get accepted into and I haven't even done prerequisites or any college course! So I have a few questions, How hard was it for you to get accepted into rad tech school? How long did it take for you to be able to enter the workforce with this degree? Do you think I'm totally out of my league here thinking about trying it? Right now I make about 57,000 at my current job, would I be shooting my self in the foot by chasing a rad tech job that I might not even be able to acquire (because I'd have to quit my current job to get something more flexible with a school schedule)

I don't have a lot of people to talk to so any info is helpful info! Thank you! 🫶🏼
