Psychopaths, how'd you know? Did you know?
I am curious on how ppl with aspd built up a sense of identity, and how big of a factor aspd (diagnosed or not) plays in how you present your identity outwards?
Did you always have this feeling that maybe your playing a different game to everyone else?
I hear often that most ppl w aspd dont know until they are caught by the system and that had me thinking. For years, i do legally 'grey' things as a form of stress relief and just a reward for existing, and lately my friends have told me i need to be less reckless and dangerous and more mature as i am an adult now with real legal consequences, and that my coping mechanisms are unhealthy. I just find their statements silly though and a little annoying as some vague authoirity of the state should be able to shape my choices, and then it hit me. Am i just another statisitic waiting to get caught?
A family member of mine has some form of aspd for sure, ethics and morals seem more like fun hyptheticals to them then guidelines of human behaviour.
So yeah, i guess im just trying to find a label for my inner experience, i know i am 100% not a psychopath but man i love being an apathetic dickhead instead of turning my brain on. I dont suffer a lack of understanding or curioisity. Just a lack of fucks to hand out?
