How can I request that steam cancel my license for certain games?
I have about fifty or so games that I do not want on my account. They are mostly games I played for thirty minutes five years ago and can no longer refund. I would like to request Steam remove them, but there seems to be no official way of doing so.
I have tried the Permanently Remove feature, but that is more of a glorified hide since I can have my games back with the click of a button. I also tried asking steam to refund the games for $0, but was denied. I would just like them gone.
I find myself planning how I will clear out my steam backlog more often than I spend actually gaming, and it is annoying. Gaming has become more of a chore than a fun pastime due to the abundance of steam-sale games I purchased eons ago. I get twitchy about things sitting collecting dust, and usually just donate or throw out old stuff I don't want. I will give away old books, old clothes, etc., to declutter, clear my mind, and make space for things I actually want to engage with at the current moment. But with steam this is not a possibility.
So how can I go about doing this without deleting my whole account and starting over? Is there a rep I can talk to? Can I be put on a waiting list so they know I'm sure I want to get rid of these games? I would like to assure them I don't want any money back, just the service of removal.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
EDIT: I should clarify that the reason I do not like the Permanently Remove feature is that it feels like stuffing old garbage into a closet, but digitally. It isn't really gone or out of my hands, but is still there and still listed under my name.
EDIT again: Why is this getting downvoted? I politely asked if the thing i wanted to do is possible.
