Personal moral dilemma: if the Steam Machine potentially suffers shortages (due to RAM problems), I wonder if it'd be selfish of me to get one for myself when I don't need it when another, more deserving person is unable to.

Like, I technically don't need it. I already have a decent gaming PC and a Steam Deck. I'm only thinking of getting the Steam Machine for my bedroom TV (My PC is in the family game room). I fear about the device having supply issues due to AI hording components like RAM. While I'm financially-well off to get it even at the possible $1k, I wonder if it'd be ethical of me to unintentionally thwart a less well-off person from getting one.

I'm sorry if I'm asking a weird question. Maybe I'm just thinking too hard. But I can't help but wonder.
